... As the article points out, before Metro can reach PWC, the Blue Line must first be extended from Franconia-Springfield down to Lorton and Fort Belvoir. That has been kicked around for years and even with the BRAC relocation of 19,000 employees to Fort Belvoir in the next four years, nothing has moved beyond the “we should really study doing this” phase. The price tag? Only $700-800 million...
