Sri Lanka Tele Communication (SLTC) in Jaffna suspended all Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) wireless phone service to nearly 7,000 customers as per instructions by Sri Lanka Army (SLA) in Jaffna due to security reasons, SLTC sources in Jaffna said. Sri Lanka Cement Corporation's newly appointed Chairman S. J. Paranagama said that steps are being taken to recommence cement production in Kaangkeasanththu'rai (KKS) Lanka Cement factory, during a press meet held Tuesday for Jaffna media in Jaffna.
