Huskies QB Locker out 6-8 weeks with broken thumb

Washington quarterback Jake Locker has a broken right thumb and will be sidelined up to eight weeks. Locker was injured Saturday night against Stanford. Coach Tyrone Willingham says Locker had surgery Monday to repair the fracture and that the typical recovery time is between six and eight weeks.
