The speaker is John Coates, who admittedly is not such a prize Olympic snob as Kevin Gosper but that isn't saying a lot. My reaction is to ask why anybody would be disappointed if we are not in the top 5 Olympic nations; indeed to be amazed that anyone would expect Australia to be there in the first place....
