Even though the Chicago Blackhawks fell just short of the playoffs in 2007-08, they were encouraged by the success of talented rookies Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews. Perhaps the addition of two veterans can help the club end its seven-year postseason drought.

The Hawks, coached by Denis Savard, have one of the youngest lineups in the league -- only tonight's starting goaltender, Cristobal Huet, is the only active Hawk over 32. Nik Khabibulin is 35, but Chicago barely wants him around. Keep an eye out for 20-year-old captain Jonathan Toews and 19-year-old sidekick Patrick Kane.
