If Andrew Hore, the Ospreys elite performance director, was asked to pinpoint a player who represents the ‘new Ospreys’, it would be Tiatia, not Justin Marshall. Tiatia has a reputation for being the ‘quiet man’ but when he speaks, everybody, in a squad full of some of the biggest names in Welsh rugby, stops and listens.

We know every region can, and probably will, produce one big performance in this year’s tournament, but it’s all about sustained performance and sustained success. The side which manages that – winning when you play badly – usually lifts that magnificent piece of silverware at every season. The Ospreys, once again, are our best chance in Europe.
