Kampala City Council Halts Crackdown On Butcheries

Kampala City Council has halted it's crackdown on substandard butcheries because of security concerns. The District Veterinary Officer, Dr Bariyanga Ahimbisibwe, said KCC has resolved to involve Police force before resuming the operation. He said council officials have already communicated to the Regional Police Commander, Mr Edward Ochom, over the security issue.
