It's the only rumour on the BBC Gossip pages but according to that page and they're quoting the Mirror, Martin O'Neill is interested in paying £4mn. for Reading striker Kevin Doyle. I'll say this; if he does it quickly I'm sure it will be enough to convince Gareth Barry to stay and that the intentions of Randy Lerner are sincere.
