Hossa - incomplete. Again with the not enough time schtick. Marcel wasn’t here long enough to make his impact felt. He was strong defensively but not much else. Towards the tail end of the season we saw lil Hoss with a lot of chances, he started actually looking for the puck, looking for the net and [...]

Yesterday was trade deadline day. Was anybody else bored? Even with the number of total players on the move, I expected even more movement. Surprise Deal of The Day I was a little surprised Glen Sather of the NYR traded highly touted goalie prospect Al Montoya to The Coyotes along with Marcel Hossa. The Rangers got [...]

The Rangers made two trades at the deadline today that have to be considered little more than bolstering the depth at the lower part of their NHL roster and in the AHL. They finally (mercifully) ended the Marcel Hossa experiment,...

GREENBURGH, N.Y. - After hearing how awful left wing Marcel Hossa sounded yesterday morning, Rangers coach Tom Renney made sure his young player was quarantined from the rest of his teammates. With the amount of injuries and illness rippling through the locker room, Renney can't afford to lose another player.

It was too good to be true. Marek Malik was going to sit as Paul Mara returned to the lineup. That was about as good as it was going to get. Yes, the Rangers came back with two straight goals, the first by Marcel Hossa and Chris Drury's seventh, to give them a brief 2-1 lead and then the tying goal by Dupuis and finally the winner by Kozlov past backup Steve Valiquette who started for Lundqvist.
