Labour Party NEC election results

Unsurprisingly Ellie (who ended up on both slates!) topped the poll so well done to Ellie, Im personally very pleased to see that Christine Shawcroft has been relected again. All of the Campaign Labour Grassroots Alliance apart from Mohammed Azam got elected which is good news that the "left" slate took 5 out of the 6 seats but lets have a more democratic way to decide who our CLGRA candidates...

NEC RESULTS

Unconfirmed reports on LabourHome suggest that four out of the five Grassroots Allliance candidates have made it on to the NEC. So well done to Ann Black, Peter Kenyon, Pete Willsman and Christine Shawcroft. The bad news is that it therefore looks as if Mohammed Azam didn't make it. Which is a serious shame.
