On Thursday, Nick Heidfeld continued the four-day testing of the BMW Sauber F1 Team in Jerez de la Frontera. With conditions hot and sunny all day, the German was busy working with the 2009 slick tyres. With temperatures reaching up to 33 degrees Celsius, Nick was one of ten drivers who took to the 4.574-kilometre track in the South of Spain.

Nick Heidfeld was in the cockpit today for BMW. They where testing out the slick tyres and some new aero components which may be on the car for next year depending if the data has some good feedback.

Valencia is a familiar venue for the BMW Sauber F1 Team. However, Nick Heidfeld and Robert Kubica will still be entering uncharted waters when they race at the European Grand Prix in August. The BMW Sauber F1 Team has already completed many kilometres of tests at Valencia's 'Circuit de la Comunitat'. This is also where every BMW Sauber F1 Team car has made its track premiere since 2006.
