From Noonan's comment section: "It's odd that Ms. Noonan didn't mention the millions of babies that are newly elected president will make it easier to kill..." Hmm. That IS odd!

I’m going out of order, because honestly I’m ticked with Peggy Noonan. There’s a controversy between some Protestant chick from out in the sticks, and an Irish-Catholic city girl. Whose side do I have to take? The Protestant’s. This galls me. Where am I, Yorktown? The World’s Turned Upside-Down. I’m on the extreme right, playing the [...]

by kos from DailyKos Sat Nov 29, 2008 I love coming across great punditry like this, from Peggy Noonan in February 2006: Conservatives are always writing about the strains and stresses within the Republican Party, and they are real. But the Democratic Party seems to be near imploding, and for that most humiliating of reasons: its meaninglessness. Republicans are at least arguing over their meaning....

What I love about that Noonan article is her unnamed 'economic expert' tells her that things don't look so bad outside her penthouse window because after the Great Depression the US created this thing called the 'safety net' -- which of course, gives Noonan pretext to complain that this time around we'll create even more programs to, regrettably, ameliorate the suffering and thus rob...

Penn Charter took advantage of some hot shooting by Tom Noonan in the opening quarter and went on to beat Solebury School, 51-46, in the opening round of the Turkey Day Shootout Tournament at Philadelphia University last night.

Peggington. We love Peggington so much, and we don't even care who knows! In this week's very special Thanksgiving edition of her Wall Street Journal psychodiary, "Declarations," the Noonanism -- an embarrassingly insular worldview in which no personal anecdote is void of world-historical spiritual import -- has been cranked deep ...

Peggy Noonan’s latest column for The Wall Street Journal is a little overdramatic in places, but her first paragraph makes it worth a read. From the WSJ: The hundred days are happening now. That’s the real headline on President-elect Obama’s series of news conferences and his announcements of intended administration policy, such as an economic stimulus package. [...]

Why does Sarah Palin continue to receive so much media coverage? Peggy Noonan has a theory. The Wall Street Journal columnist believes the MSM is up to what she considers "mischief": attempting to make Sarah Palin the face of the Republican party. Noonan propounded her premise during an appearance today on Morning Joe. PEGGY NOONAN: Look, I think the headline with Mrs. Palin, let me...

In this segment from MSNBC's "Morning Joe," Wall Street Journal columnist and recently-unfocused pundit Peggy Noonan explains her theory, of why the mainstream media is attempting to make Sarah Palin the face of the Republican party. There is, of course, the possibility that Palin is newsworthy. But, hey, how can something so straighforward get you a spot on a major network, I ask you? .

Some of us know which side our bread is buttered on. And here, oddly enough, is the media itself hyping the Gov. Oh, that's not the liberal elite media? It's yet another goofy outfit w/ funding from a crazy millionaire or something. (Go to "TV Ads." Nine classics.)
