The company said underlying sales were up 6.8 percent in the quarter, with an operating margin of 13 percent, down fractionally amid rising commodity costs. CEO Patrick Cescau called the results "good in what has been a challenging environment," and repeated the company was sticking to its full year target of 3-5 percent "underlying" sales growth and an improvement in margins.
