At the risk of stating the obvious, this one's all about the rhythm. The notes are just window dressing to that syncopated beat, which is familiar but new. Takka Takka - Everybody Say. It's tempting to tie this sound to what Vampire Weekend and others are up to - the whole Paul Simon/Peter Gabriel influence, and maybe it's a valid point. But I think the common thread is minimalism, or then again, maybe...
