The project was one of many inspiring design investigations in the school's "Réalisme énerg#233;tique" exhibition, and had us scrambling for our cameras...

Providing an informative, interactive, and completely engaging exhibition at the Eco City Lab pavilion was Debra Solomon's Lucky Mi Fortune Cooking, a mobile snack wagon (well, pretty mobile) transforming food flows (waste) to delicious in-situ snacks (kimchi...yum!) Debra and her chef de cuisine Paul Freestone were busily chopping, fermenting, and doing all manner of things to create an incredible...

A message which is posted every 12 hours thanks to more than 500 clocks. It is about the project of Nadine Grenier, coed in Esad: an elegant work around the time which passes, at the time of Biennial international Design in Saint-Etienne. The message is "Le temps passe, e chaque fois qu'il y a du temps qui passe, il y a quelque chose qui s'efface" - or something like "The time passes, and each...

... like that you need some success and unfortunately things didn't go for us at the end." Saint Etienne brought a seven-game losing streak in the league to an end with a 2-1 victory at Nancy that fired them out of the relegation zone. The visitors took the lead after just seven minutes when on-loan Portuguese midfielder Paulo Machado curled a 30-yard free-kick past home keeper Gennaro Bracigliano....

Obama is ubiquitous in France. Beyond press articles, he is present in street art (Saint Etienne) but more interestingly as a bait or as weird cue to buy things such clothes (Paris) or pizzas (Paris): Why do I blog this? not very related to the topics at hand here but this sort of pervasiveness is intriguing.
