Brandon Minor is a powerful speed back who showed glimpses last season of an ability to handle the workload, even when he shared it with Carlos Brown. While those two have more experience, true freshmen Sam McGuffie and Michael Shaw have made strong impressions this fall, and those could spill onto the field -- even in a starting role.
