It isn't surprising that Sam Nunn is rumored to be on Obama's short list for VP. He is a moderate Democrat with serious national security credibility, his Georgia background would help balance out the ticket, and he is one of the co-chairs of Nuclear Threat Initiative . Perhaps most importantly for Obama's candidacy, he could help reassure older white Democrats that Obama will look out for their...

All this “loose nukes” stuff is straight out of the Sam Nunn playbook/movie. So Martha, I’ll wager one whole dollar that Obama’s going with Nunn for [...]

A few days before Obama’s planned trip to the Middle East and a week after his hasty, hush-hush meeting with the Veep Vetters, Obama led a roundtable foreign policy discussion at Purdue University that included Indiana Sen.
