In fact-at least for me-it's much better than most contemporary poetry, in the sense that it's much more readable, much better crafted, and often beautifully compressed in a dazzling haikulike way.

My first rig was a '72 Super Beetle. That car was the biggest piece of crap I've ever owned. I knew I had made a bad purchase when I was driving a friend home from school and shifted gears and the stick completely separated from the gearbox. There is no farking way that piece of crap could go 115 mph. Downhill it could reach 80, but 115 wasn't happening in that piece of shiat./subby
