And this comes a week after Todd Sauerbrun got, uh, the boot, for some weird taxi-cab-related issues . Merry Christmas, everybody! Miller actually lost his job with the Patriots last season when he suffered a shoulder injury (affecting his drops) and was replaced by the thunder-footed Todd Sauerbrun. Sauerbrun has since gone to Denver (the mile hile air has to be inviting for a punter), but obviously New England didn't think Miller was the answer any more.
