Yesterday Democrat Charlie Brown conceded defeat in the California 4 race, which means no recount and Club for Growth PAC-endorsed candidate Tom McClintock will be sworn in next month. We appreciate that Mr. Brown saved California taxpayers the expense of the recount and the graceful nature of his concession statement.

Looks like Tom McClintock managed to pull it out in California’s 4th. McClintock is a great friend of the Second Amendment, and of conservative causes in general. Unlike a lot of other politicians, he walks the walk. So this is also a nice silver lining to an otherwise ominous dark cloud.

Acts of mass shooting, kidnapping, occupying buildings, igniting explosives, setting fires are criminal acts wherever they occur and require the quick response of sophisticated police power. Tom McClintock declared himself the winner over Charlie Brown today in a tightly contested race in Northern California's 4th Congressional District. But as the veteran lawmaker and conservative lion asserted he has defeated Brown and turned back a "liberal wave that swept over America and lapped at the edge of this district," Brown refused to concede until "every voice is heard." McClintock...

Thank God we dodged this bullet. California State Senator and ultra fiscal conservative Tom McClintock will be “informally” claiming victory tomorrow in the race for California’s 4th Congressional District which encompasses the northeast part of the state. This is the man that should have been governor of California, but frankly I’d rather have him in [...]

California is very slow to count ballots and while it's not yet official, it appears that Club for Growth PAC-endorsed candidate Tom McClintock won his race for an open seat over Charlie Brown. Every ballot has finally been counted and McClintock has a 1,576 vote lead . I very much doubt Brown can win a recount even though there are reportedly 15,000 undervotes in the district. Usually...
