I'm back to blogging after a baby break and this was a nice, easy game to return to. Very easy win for the men in green as the boys in white and red showed little interest in playing anything resembling defense. Some notes: 7 Celts scored in double figures, led by Tony Allen It goes in the books as a 15 point win, but it was hardly that close. Another solid game by Rondo who set the tone early and...

Guess we're not through with her yet...Sarah Palin that is. According to Tony Allen-Mills in London's Times Online , but she “may yet emerge as the savior of the American publishing industry.” Literary agents are lining up to sign the former Republican vice-presidential candidate to a book deal that could earn her $7 million, and sales should justify the price. Not bad for a “small-town Alaska girl...

Angelina Jolie gave another one of her irritatingly perfect interviews recently, this time with The Sunday Times. It’s a hefty one that’ll keep the tabloids humming along for ages, and my favorite parts are when Angelina claims to have “never hurt anybody” in her life, and journalist Tony Allen Mills sounds like he’s totally crushing [...]

Picking the player of the game this time was pretty easy. One player stood out and that was Tony Allen. He had his best game of the season so far with 23 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals, and 1 block. Must have had Salmon and Mashed Potatoes for dinner again. AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Nov. 9 (UPI) -- Reserve Tony Allen scored a team-high 23 points Sunday to lead the Boston Celtics' surprisingly easy 88-76 win over Detroit. The Celtics were down 19-17 after the first quarter but used a 30-10 second-quarter charged to take a 47-29 halftime advantage, and Detroit barely threatened in the final 24 minutes. Allen scored 10 points in the surge, and his layup with...

It was Allen Iverson's home debut in Detroit and the Celtics spoiled his party. In particular Tony Allen was all over the court on both sides of the ball. When he wasn't disrupting plays or stealing passes, he was driving to the hoop and making tough layups in traffic (good for 23 points). Great game for Tony. The game started out ugly, with both teams shooting ice cold from the floor. Eventually...
