I was out early this morning delivering our ‘Change’ newspaper in Seacombe with Cllrs Ian Lewis and Chris Blakeley for a couple of hours. Instead of stopping for a coffee with them, I went straight to the Christmas Fair at New Brighton Primary with Cllr Tony Pritchard. There was a great atmosphere with lots of parents and children supporting the event. [...]

The campaign to save the Ss Peter and Paul’s Church is still ongoing, and this morning I was out in Liscard Town Centre helping the organisers and Cllr Tony Pritchard collect a petition to re-open the Church. Jane Mason (Chair), Pauline Murphy, Cllr Tony Pritchard, Joe Greaves (President) and me No, not me! but Wallasey Arts Society who invited me to open their 46th Annual Art Exhibition at Earlston Library this afternoon. There are some fabulous paintings - watercolours, charcoal, pastel and etchings to name but a few. This year they’ve also added pottery and there’s a great ‘Coronation Street’...
