Not too much time to provide a long opener, folks. Quick hits: Brady’s finger is appartently “okay” enough for him to suit up. Thankfully, Kellen Winslow will also be active to provide Quinn with another target. In fact, only notable inactives are Shaun Smith and Travis Daniels, meaning that all of the guys we talked [...]

The Cleveland Plain Dealer reported this morning that cornerback Travis Daniels could replace struggling starter Brandon McDonald this Monday against the Buffalo Bills. While Daniels has seen minimal playing time this season, the move might not be a bad one. I am still intrigued with giving McDonald more starting opportunities this season. However, he is coming off two of the worst games in his career....

Come Monday, Cleveland Browns cornerback Brandon McDonald may lose his starting job. Browns coach Romeo Crennel said veteran CB Travis Daniels may start in the Browns' Week 11 matchup with the Buffalo Bills. The Bills are 12th in the NFL in passing, with two quarterbacks -- Trent Edwards and J.P. Losman -- combining for a rating of 89.5. Commentary: If it comes to pass, McDonald's benching ...

The roster trimming continues. Today was the deadline for NFL teams to get their rosters to 75 players. Miami didn’t have to do a thing, as the Travis Daniels’ trade lowered their roster number to 73. But the Phins decided to play the game anyway, keeping their roster 4 spots below the maximum by releasing [...]

With the lack of depth in the Browns secondary becoming more and more apparent it was only a matter of time before a move was made. This week Phil Savage finally made that long anticipated move by trading a late round draft to the Miami Dolphins for DB Travis Daniels. Daniels is a 4 [...]

The nameplates over the Dolphins' lockers are written in paper for a reason. One more came down on Wednesday as the Dolphins traded fourth-year CB Travis Daniels to the Cleveland Browns for an undisclosed draft choice.

Filed under: Browns , Dolphins , AFC East , AFC North John Beck remains in Miami , but his teammate up to about 20 minutes ago is now a Cleveland Brown. Cornerback Travis Daniels was sent to the great state of Ohio to bolster the Browns' almost-non-existent secondary and the Dolphins got an undisclosed draft pick for their troubles. MDS at PFT writes that Daniels, a 2005 fourth-round pick and Nick...

Apparently seeing enough of their defensive backfield getting torched, Phil Savage and company have made a trade for Dolphins defensive back Travis Daniels. Daniels, a former fourth-round draft choice, will bring some much-needed depth to our DB corps. Playing both cornerback and safety last season, the thing that I like the most about Daniels is the [...] ShareThis
