Well, British Airways finally responded to the halving of crude prices by dropping their fuel surcharge £10 to £68 on domestic flights and £109 to £96 on overseas routes. Virgin Atlantic will also institute similar price cuts....

LONDON, Oct. 15 (UPI) -- Two British airlines said they would reduce fuel surcharges by up to $45 on return flights after an industry watchdog group criticized the practice. In September, the Air Transport Users Council complained British Airways' surcharges were not related to the cost of fuel, The Times of London reported Wednesday.
