[ Mac Owners Support Group ] That fact that is does not even boot from the install DVD, sounds like it could be something serious--like a logic board. The RAM you tried was new, right?

I have 2 internal hard drives, with a bootable system on each, so this...

[ Mac Owners Support Group ] Only issue I ran into was that the plugs from the power supply unit seem to be miss numbered and I had to leave one of my optical drives unplugged as it could not reach. If i change the plugs around, am I at risk of any power issue (like frying any components) or are all of the plugs coming from the psu the same power levels and therefore interchangeable?
