The big secret with AdWords is that once you know what you are doing.. you'll be making so much money it's crazy and if you don't know or are on the verge it's a long road ahead, or you'll end up losing money for sure. If you know AdWords like a master you'll find yourself making thousands and never have to worry about money ever again.

Dave Naylor posts this screenshot of Yahoo Answers serving Ads by Google above answers search results. According to the screenshot, which was sent in by a DaveN reader, it looks like the Google Ads are being served along with the Yahoo Search Marketing ads. I don't know, something smells fishy here. Well, I haven't heard back from our person at Google and I’m trying to figure out whether our ads for Hacking: The Art of Exploitation are running. It seems like they may have been enabled but when I drill down I still seem the same message about our ads having been “disapproved.” Who knows. I do hope that this is a sign that the Google Adwords people listen when customers contest their decisions....

Google has announced that along with indications about keyword relevance and landing page quality generally, in the keyword analysis screen they now let you see whether any problems were found with page load times on the relevant landing page. This takes away the guessing game to some extent. If you get "no problems found," chances are you should be looking to other factors if your keyword quality...

There is a new phishing scam going around involving Google AdWords to steal your information. A fake e-mail asks you to login to your AdWords account in order to update your billing information. The link appears to look like its a Google.com address, but in fact it's not. The link takes you to http://adwords.google.com.fr4ck.cn/select/Login/.
