Since being acquired by Google, Feedburner seems to be a backward slide into Googleism. Many may not be familiar with Google's lack of information, read any of their blogs and you only get a slight insight into what they are up to - Feedburner is saying even less. There is no information coming out of Feedburner now. There have been no ' Publisher Tips ' since August 2007 and nothing on the official...

traffic stats comparison , originally uploaded by gorgeoux . Shouldn't the first three items in the traffic report on the left side show up in the traffic report on the right side? Thought so. You're looking at June's monthly reports from (Google's) FeedBurner and Google Analytics. Like they matter.

So if you've subscribed to my blog using some kind of Reader (like Google Reader, Bloglines, etc.), you'll need to update your feed thingy for me because I switched to Feedburner today upon a recommendation from a wise blogging friend. So here's a new link to re-subscribe, or to subscribe new if... Go to the House of Peanut to read the rest of this entry ;)

FeedBurner blog site statistics have been down for over two days with no word from Google despite numerous complaints from users. Does Google's lack of response suggest something we don't know? by Michael Krigsman

Day One was busy — The Next Content Wave: Hypersyndication We started off with a keynote talk from Dick Costolo , who is the guy who created and sold FeedBurner and now works for Google. He talked about how far syndication has come. If you went to CNN or Gannet even two years ago and told them to pull in RSS feeds from other people and display them, they would have laughed you out of thr room. Now,...

A pparently, Bloglines has decided to ignore its customers. I've noticed that since June 3rd they've not been carrying my site's RSS feed. I'm pretty sure it's working fine, since Google Reader, Feedburner and Firefox's Sage has no trouble with it. A note to their unhelpful Help Desk did nothing, and I noticed in their Forum a long list of people saying the same thing. At the end of one, someone named...

Feedburner performance in relation to e-mail feed delivery has been abysmal in the past month. E-mails are not being sent out on time - or at all (My blog post from yesterday has still not turned up in my 'quality check' inbox). Subscribers have been writing to me to say that they have not been getting their e-mails - or getting them very late. Feedback to reported problems has also gone

I have created a FeedFlare unit which can be added to your Feedburner feed. This generates a link to the permanent page for each feed item, using the post author's name and the title of your blog as the link text. Using this FeedFlare will help Google (and other search engines) determine that your post is the original source of content, and prevent scraper sites from ranking more highly in search engine...
