If the integrated GPS provides a useful feature to the iPhone 3G, its usage is mostly interesting for pedestrians than in a car as there is no real guiding application able to benefit from the integrated GPS currently available for the iPhone. Walking directions ignore things like one-way streets that don't apply to foot traffic, and give you the fastest...

StreetCities StreetCities is a nifty new service that lets you embed a Google Maps street view and map in a blog or website. Here is an example from Paris: I particularly like the ability to switch between the Street View and the Map. I think I might be using StreetCities a lot in the now regular Fridays Maps Fun posts to show some of the more interesting street views found on Google Maps. StreetCities'...

Whoohooo! Google has finally added “walking” to Google Maps! I gave it a quick try and it didn’t jump across any parks or small alleys yet, but the routes are still draggable which rocks! Hopefully they can mix it up one day with train and bus routes since I do that! Google Maps!
