This lucky guy gets caught walking out of a strip club. Let's hope his wife or girlfriend is understanding. This gun enthusiast was photographed on a Rapid City, South Dakota street after apparently leaving First Stop Guns, a family-run Main Street establishment "specializing in high grade and collectible firearms ." Just a normal epic battle in a yard in Pittsburgh , Allegheny, Pennsylvania....
Playstreet is just such a great idea. Basically, it’s a mapping tool that breaks the city of Seoul into 29 hotspots. You can choose the area you want to know more about, click the link and get information about the area. They do this in an unique way. They overlay street view images onto [...]
Google has launched its Dashboard which allows a Google user greater and easier access to his account and also permits him to change his privacy and other settings. This is because Google was on the hot seat for the potential its services had to invade a user’s privacy. Google Docs, Google Desktop and Gmail and also Street View have been in the news for providing easy access to unauthorised...
My wife and I moved out to New York last week, and we sure put Google Maps to use in our housing hunt. With Real Estate listings to help find a place, Street View to scope out the neighborhood, directions to help us find our broker, and local search to find nearby amenities, just about the only thing that we needed another source for was to see where the extensive subway lines ran. Until now! We're...
We recently announced that our Street View fleet would be back on public roads across Australia this month to capture new and better imagery of our country's beautiful cities, beaches, and dusty roads. What better way to kick this off than to start with a little fun at our GoogleAustralia headquarters in Sydney? This morning, about 300 Googlers in our Pyrmont office lined the park next to our office...

I remember how excited I was when Google Maps first came into existence. I would seize anyone who seemed to show a particle of interest, sit them down in front of my computer, and click madly on the little square until I could discern my own house. Well, Google Maps has grown up quite a bit since then. Now I can satisfy my need to stalk my own house by flying straight home on the wings of Google Earth....
Google has branched out (or more accurately, built up) yet again. Simon Hampton, Director of European Policy and Public Affairs, announced today that the search giant's established a Googleplex in Brussels, Belgium. Hampton explained on the European Public Policy Blog , "Until now, our small policy team in Brussels worked from temporary abodes. From now on, you can find us at Chausse d'Etterbeek...
View Larger Map Toronto is home to some pretty strange houses and front lawns. And living around Dupont and Christie, I've had a chance to take a look at quite a number of them, clustered as they are in this area. I've often wondered, however, where else I could find such quirky architecture and/or laugh-inducing landscaping. Well, by combining the resource (read distraction ) that is Google Street...
So as if we needed more projects to work we have started another one – Piste View – a project to map the ski areas of the world starting with the Austrian Alps. Google gave us Street View, we are offering Piste View. We have developed a range of hardware to film the ski areas [...]
On Monday, at the spur of the moment, David decided to bring his dad, Jaxon and I to Lake Clyde . His dad has travelled all over Texas ( and then some), but for some reason, had never been to Lake Clyde. It was only about 25 miles away, and with Google Maps, especially with the Street View option, it makes going to a place you've never been to before, much less intimidating. We were very pleasantly...
