Technorati just imploded. Many of their search feeds were redirected to the feed All articles on Technorati causing Reblinks to send out hundreds, possibly thousands of emails. Unless Technorati is fixed, I might have to unsubscribe everybody from any Technorati feeds. http://www.reblinks.com/

Many bloggers have watched Technorati undergo changes that left us wondering what the heck was going on. Recently, as I've watched my ranking, it appeared that the site had their new algorithm worked out - whatever that means. Maggie's Notebook Technorati Top 100 Politics Ranking and Authority Last night, I noticed that two new badges had been added to my profile at Technorati: Top 100 U.S. Politics,...

A few months ago Technorati stopped working. It was a pretty handy deal when it DID work, showing me who links back to posts here on Mr. C. I left a message on their support page a few weeks ago, but no reply or function resumption. Reading through their site it's clear that they made a lot of major changes, and after the changes, a LOT of blogs didn't show properly anymore. Is anyone aware of a similar...

… anti-green WattsUpWithThat.com is #2! By this categorization, why isn’t the Drudge Report the #1 Green website? I regularly use Technorati to check who is linking to CP, and stumbled across the fact that last month they totally redesigned their “Technorati Authority” and added a topical ranking by category. As you can see here, I am (for [...]

I don’t quite understand how all this works but last time I checked this blog on Technorati its ‘authority’ was 19 and it was ranked about 400,000. Having just checked now HERE I find the said authority is 432 and the ranking is 11,488. Now considering that there are 853,799 blogs listed on Technorati that isn’t [...]

Maybe not everyone knows this yet, but Technorati changed how they do their rankings. And the way they’ve gone, I’m not sure whether it’s better or not overall, but it’s certainly drastically different from what it used to be. And it’s a way to track our blogging proficiency, even [...]

Technorati, helper of weekly roundups, seems to be plowing through the internet to restore its authority indexes for users. Before the upgrade, I was at 31. Then down to 0. Checked this evening, and I'm at 532 . Not in the top 100, but in the top 3500. Check and see if you're listed. They say they'll be updating it daily.

Earlier this month Technorati underwent an extreme makeover of sorts, not only with respect to the site design, but also with respect to how blogs are ranked. Technorati is now the fifth largest social media property, still well behind Facebook.com and MySpace.com, but somewhat surprisingly ahead of Twitter.com and Digg.com. The new Technorati not only [...] Related posts:The Top 25 Patent BlogsLast...
