I can't help but wonder what the state of the world and our general attitude toward science would be today without his courageous quest to popularize science and inspire skepticism, critical thinking and awe at the human condition in light of our scientific understanding of the cosmos and our place in time and space. I'm not sure there's anyone to this day...
