Ok, so lifestreaming is the rage of '08, what with SocialThing! and Friendfeed and all similar services hogging all the attention. But I also see something that's been bubbling under the surface that I call 'mechstreams'. I see machines edging...

Louis Gray has an interesting post on what makes FriendFeed so addictive for those of us in the early adopter set. There are quite a few folks that are trying to make a go of it in the lifestreaming and aggregation set. As Louis said: Plaxo did it. Profilactic did it. Iminta did it. Socialthing did [...]

This had somehow slipped past me, but Iminta, the FriendFeed competitor, has launched a mobile version of their application. In case you don’t remember Iminta, it’s the lifestreaming utility we profiled a while back that came out of private beta right around the time FriendFeed and SocialThing did. The site relies on its users to generate [...]

Fair amount of hullaballoo (at least in the virtual circles in which I run) about the social media aggregator sites. The leading candidates FriendFeed AlertThingy SocialThing Each promises to pull in "streams" from sites such as Facebook , Twitter , etc. to give you one place to get all of the updates on your networks. Staying on top of the info isn't easy and my award goes to.... SocialThing Why?...
