ALT-C 2008: Rethinking the digital divide

ALT-C 2008: Rethinking the digital divide Leeds, UK, 9-11 September 2008 I am missing ALT-C this week - but will follow what I can through twitter and bloglines. I enjoyed spell on the executive and still follow many friends from this time. I spotted this piece on the digital divide - some of the creativity across UK elearning is fantastic - (hit more button) and watch the section on eportfolios (...

Good Things: Change

I’ve been using Google Reader for feeds, and have been mostly satisfied, but a couple of nights ago I began trying out Bloglines. The feed statistics for this blog said that more people use Bloglines than any other reader, and that made me curious to find out what they know that I don’t. [...]

Communication: Cyclying and Disinhibition

It has been several weeks if not months since I last opened up the RSS readers that I have in use including Bloglines, endo, netvibes, and Google Reader. This is a statement that I can safely make with some sort of periodical recurrence. I struggle to not drown in information. Finding what I need is much more important than being bombarded with potentially interesting information. I am starting to...

Oh! OH!! OHHHH!!! So so so thrilled to see your post. I don't do bloglines, so I just check in here once in a while to see if maybe you're feeling like posting, since I used to start all my days reading you. And I was so excited I almost shouted. What a delightful, fabulous surprise. I am grinning ear to ear. So glad to hear that all is well and happy at the Scribbler-Blue home, that...

Bloglines = The Suck

I expected that once Bloglines started running ads that they would become more functional since they weren't really a completely free product anymore. That has not been the case for me at all. It hangs every single time I try to use it. Sometimes I'm lucky and can get to ...

Links of the Day

Been playing around with Google Reader since I moved back from Bloglines recently. I’m trying to use the "sharing" function to some advantage, but it’s a work in progress. For the time being, links to my shared items are being displayed on the right side of the page, fairly near the top, under the imaginative title [...]

Blogging and working do not mix well

I have no time to read blogs anymore. I am ignoring everyone and I feel terrible about it. I'm going to go through my bloglines this weekend and trim way back because I can't do it anymore and I'm sorry if it's your blog that has to be cut, but I can't read this many blogs anymore. Because I am working and work is hard and tiring and well, somewhat boring. My job requires a lot of thought but

Phantom!! I was thinking of you yesterday, reading Jody's post about the start of second grade, and remember us all posting about the start of kindergarten. And this is why I love bloglines -- that it just pops up when you decide to break radio silence.

Experimenting with feeds

I'm changing my feed settings a little. If you read Cyclelicious via feed reader (such as Bloglines, Flock, or Google Reader), please let me know if you experience problems after tonight. There might be a slight hiccup, but I think the change should be mostly transparent.
