British mobile phone giant Vodafone Group Plc has sought an extra two months to reply to a two-billion-dollar Indian tax claim over its purchase of India's third-largest mobile operator. The Middle East's largest fixed- line operator, Telecom Egypt is interested in boosting its stake in Vodafone Egypt, and is 'keeping its eyes open' for acquisitions, Bloomberg has reported.
