Helen, the resident women's basketball historian, may have uncovered this before. But the Minneapolis Star Tribune reveals that Amelia Earhart played basketball for St. Paul Central during the 1913-14 season. On a side notie, it is nice to see the article mention Dorothy McIntyre's book - Daughters of the Game .
