RUMOURS were rife yesterday that Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) 2007 governorship candidate in Anambra State, Dr. Andy Uba, may be joining another political party after his quest to take over from the incumbent Governor Peter Obi hit the brick wall following the Appeal Court's ruling last week.

Today the Court of Appeal is expected to deliver judgment in a suit filed by Dr Andy Uba, seeking to revalidate his mandate as governor of Anambra State following the controversial April 14, 2007 election. Dr Uba, like other governors was sworn in May 29, 2007 as governor.
