Pre-empting an overhaul of political donations that is expected from the Federal Government, the Queensland Premier, Anna Bligh, said yesterday that would-be political donors in the state would be limited to giving $1000 a year. The cap will come into effect next July unless the Federal Government makes changes sooner.
