The convoy of former Sokoto State governor and DPP presidential candidate in the last April general election election, Alhaji Attahiru Bafarawa was yesterday allegedly attacked at the Sultan Muhammadu Maccido Institute for Islamic Studies Jummat mosque in Sokoto, with the DPP governorship candidate, Alhaji Maigari Dingyadi alleging that there was an attempt to assassinate him.
