Some would call it stonewalling. Mark Cohon's intent, however, was not to inform but to stay on message, and that's what the CFL commissioner did Friday when confronted on the ultra-sensitive topic of the future of Canadian players in his league.

... a bit of followup. On my quick look, the Grey Cup has traditionally been presented by either the CFL's commissioner or the Prime Minister. So I'll raise the question: is there any precedent for a non-PM member of the federal government presenting the trophy? (And by the way, Go 'Riders! Consider this a Grey Cup open thread.)

That guys like Anthony Calvillo and, before him, Damon Allen can dominate your league while playing in rocking chairs is not good. Second, forget the nonsense about drug-testing....
