Increase in school tax may go before Lewisville ISD voters

Based on feedback heard at the community meetings, residents think the full 13-cent tax rate hike is needed to maintain programs and class sizes, said school board President Carol Kyer. That would bring the tax rate to $1.54 per $100 in property valuation and would raise $27.8 million.
