LONDON (MarketWatch) -- Cigna Corp. said that third-quarter net income rose to $329 million, or $1.19 a share, from $171 million, or 62 cents a share a year ago. Revenue declined to $4.5 billion, from $4.9 billion last year. On an adjusted basis, net income totaled $1.13 a share. Analysts had been expecting earnings per share of $1.02.
