Dixon heading back to the bench

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has worked out without problems since missing Sunday night's game in Baltimore with a concussion. He is expected to resume practicing Wednesday and is expected to play Sunday against Oakland barring any further complications. That means Dennis Dixon , who started at the Ravens, will return to the bench as Roethlisberger's backup in Week 13.

Raiders Leave Steelers at No Loss for Excuses

... the only reason this game was even close. Second, if indeed he wasn’t 100%, why don’t you start Dennis Dixon, who played very well in Baltimore, at HOME against the Raiders?!? Three reasons: a) Roethlisberger’s arrogance, b) Hines Ward’s complaining, c) Coach Tomlin’s inability to stand up to his star players. So if this is indeed a reason, it’s indicative of much bigger problems....
