A 19-year-old man died after his car hit several trees at Shana Way and Whitelock Parkway in a residential area of south Elk Grove early today. Elk Grove Police responded to a call at 1:32 a.m. and found the semi-conscious driver pinned inside the vehicle. He was extricated and taken to an area hospital but died at 5:42 a.m., police said.
