Acording to Ian Mendes , Brian Lee has been returned to Binghamton . Meanwhile, Erik Karlsson has been recalled in a bit of a surprise move. The status of Anton Volchenkov is still unknown. Karlsson will apparently play against the Bruins tomorrow night. Its a tough break for Lee as he has played quite well since being called up. His two way contract makes him the obvious choice....

I've had the weekend to think it over but I still can't make sense of the decision to bring up Erik Karlsson and send down Brian Lee. I understand the theory that Karlsson is a "Murray Guy" while Lee is a left over from the Muckler era but I really felt like Lee had earned his spot on the NHL roster the last little while. More importantly, I just don't think the 2008...

He'll take the spot of Brian Lee who was sent down early yesterday. Sounds like Anton Volchenkov will be out of the line up once again. With Fisher's return, call up Ryan Keller will be a scratch.
