Police have charged a man in the attempted murder and carjacking of an elderly couple.Shamsiddin I. Saleem, 22, is accused of shooting and robbing Russell Keegan Sr., 82, outside his home around 7:30 p.m. Monday in the 1100 block of Boxwood Drive.
