A very nice walk on Islay is the walk from Storakaig in the Great Glen over to Glen Logan and through to the Sound of Islay. Once at the Sound of Islay it's only a short distance to the bothy at An Cladach. This picture is from a walk in June 2007.

The world famous Commando Memorial stands proudly high above Spean Bridge. The three gigantic bronze figures stand proud in battledress, woollen caps and climbing boots looking across the Great Glen.
