Before the season, Mbakwe was suspended by athletic director Joel Maturi until his felony battery case is resolved. White and Bostick were suspended indefinitely for breaking team rules. Both Williams and Joseph have taken advantage of the extra minutes they're getting, in part, because of the absence of those three players.
