Purdue is close to producing a 3,000-yard passer, 1,000-yard rusher and 1,000-yard receiver in the same season. The feat has happened just 40 times in Division I history. Entering Saturday's season finale at Indiana, Joey Elliott has 2,821 passing yards and Ralph Bolden has 931 rushing yards; Keith Smith already has topped 1,000 receiving yards (1,015).
