Gordon turned his ankle before halftime of Wednesday's 98-88 loss to Cleveland and did not return. Coach John Kuester said he wasn't sure how long the injury would sideline the six-year veteran, who began the night tied for 16th among NBA scorers with 19.8 points per game.

Pistons coach John Kuester was asked before Wednesday night's game against the Cavs would his familiarity with LeBron James help any since Kuester was a Cavs assistant last season. He said it really wouldn't help and the main thing he was concerned with was "not allowing him to get in the open court and be able to create those easy opportunities."

Coach John Kuester wouldn’t speculate as to who would replace Gordon after Wednesday’s game — the Pistons didn’t practice on Thanksgiving — but Austin Daye started the second half in place of Gordon against the Cavaliers. Starting Daye would give the Pistons a ridiculously long starting lineup...
