On the Packers' first play, Tyrone Davis was wide open when he dropped a corner route at the 27. On second down, John Randle crushed Favre as Green dropped a fastball on the left side. On third down, a holding penalty on Frank Winters negated a 14-yard pass to Schroeder. Then Green dropped a pass in the middle of the field to force a punt.
